Changsha-Brunei Direct Flight Opens April 16

Direct flights from Changsha to Brunei' s capital city Bandar Seri Begawan opened April 16.
The Airbus 320 flights are operated by the Royal Brunei Airlines on a weekly basis between April 16 and June 28. It takes off from the Changsha Huanghua International Airport at 00:30 every Wednesday and arrive at Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei at 4:30. The return flight is from 19:40 every Tuesday to 23:30. (There is no time difference between China and Brunei). Beginning June 29, one more such flight on Sunday, with the same departure time, will be added.
On its north, Brunei borders the South China Sea. It borders Malaysia in the other three directions. It is home to the world' s largest royal palace, Istana Nurul Iman, and a water village known as the “Oriental Venice”. Currently, Brunei has a visa-on-arrival policy for Chinese tourists, with a maximum stay of 14 days.
Previously, there were no direct flights between Changsha and Brunei. Passengers flying from Changsha to Brunei need to make intermediate stops in other cities. The flight usually takes more than 8 hours. After these flights begin, Changsha will be the first city in central China with direct flights to 27 cities in all 10 ASEAN countries, including Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, Singapore, Brunei, Vietnam, Laos, Myanmar, and Cambodia.
