On April 6, local artists and 21 international artists painted unique Zhangjiajie scenery at the core Wulingyuan Scenic Area, Zhangjiajie City.
Through the paintings boasting clear individual artistic styles, the artists conveyed how they were astounded by the beauty of Zhangjiajie. They come from the Florence National Academy of Fine Arts of Italy, the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome, and the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, representing the highest international standards. A large number of tourists were attracted by the scene where domestic and foreign artists painted in the same place and used their brushes to “Have a dialogue”.
It was said that the artists would also conduct on-site paintings for Huanglong (Yellow Dragon) Cave and Tujia folk customs. Some of the selected works will be on major European exhibition tours and others collected by the local academies of fine arts.
