Snowy ZJJ Tianmen Mountain: A Winter Fairyland
2018-01-09 18:10:00  ENGHUNAN

The Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area in Zhangjiajie welcomes first snow of 2018 between January 7 and 8, presenting a romantic and fascinating snow-covered landscape. The Yunmeng Peak is quiet since Tianmen Mountain has been closed for annual cableway overhaul. The falling snow, the hoarfrost in the mountains, and the sea of clouds together create a winter wonderland.

According to the requirements of the Chinese National Cable Inspection Center, the Tianmen Mountain Cableway in Zhangjiajie Scenic Area will be closed to pass routine annual maintenance from January 2 to 17. It will resume operation on January 18, and the scenic area will also be opened to the public on the same day.
