Kids Read Qu Yuan’s Classic Poem On Glass Bridge

The photos taken on May 26, 2017, show that pupils of Jin’an Primary School are in ancient costumes and take bamboo slips in their hands. They are reading Li Sao lines on the glass skywalk at Shiniu Village National Geological Park, Pingjiang County to celebrate the coming Dragon Boat Festival.

Li Sao is a Chinese classic, written by Qu Yuan, a patriotic poet and minister of the kingdom of Chu during the Warring States period. He is commemorated by the public on Dragon Boat Festival or Duwan Festival, which falls on May 30, this year.
