Changsha-Turpan Direct Flight to Open

China Southern Airlines Hunan Branch announced on April 13, that it will launch direct flights between Changsha and Turpan on April 17. 

The new airline is expected to depart from Guangzhou and stop in Changsha before landing in Turpan. It will start operation three months ahead of schedule. The opening of the direct flight will meet the travel demand for residents living in Changsha and Turpan, give an impetus to tourism market, and better support Xinjiang's development. 

The Changsha-Turpan flight on Airbus A320 will be operated every Monday and Friday. It will depart from Changsha at 10:30 a.m. (Beijing time) and arrive in Turpan at 2:55 p.m. (Beijing time). The return flight will leave Turpan at 3:45 p.m. (Beijing time), arriving back in Changsha at 7:50 p.m. (Beijing time). The airfare from Changsha to Turpan is 720 yuan (Tax excluded).
