The north gate tower has the name of Bihui door. Because it is located in the north of Fenghuang ancient city, it is commonly known as the north gate tower.

Fenghuang North gate tower use red sand stone as embankment, with fine diamond cut, it is very exquisite. Gate looks like a half moon arch, with the package of two doors. With blue bricks masonry to build the wall, double-hipped roof rested on the top of the hill. The wall of north gate towers are connected to the wall of east gate tower. A clear tuojiang river goes through. It can act as the military defense and urban flood control function, which a solid barrier of the ancient city.

Bihui door after several wars, still stands in the bank of tuojiang river. The rolling tuojiang river intertwines precision wall, forming a unique momentum. This momentum shows for film and television, we can see the scenery in dozens of film and television plays, such as “the destroy of bandit in xiangxi”, “Bian Cheng” and “Xue Gu” .
