2016-12-20 16:37:26  Zhangjiajie Tourism Information Website

Qingyan Tsui Ming is a kind of the famous tea in China. It is well-known for it comes from mantel rocks in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, which also makes its name. On May, 1983, Qingyan Tsui Ming was awarded high-quality tea and was honored with golden cup. On october, 1988, Qingyan Tsui Ming was awarded national silver medal in the First Food Exposition held in Beijing.

Qingyan Tsui Ming’s plantation was located in somewhere, with an altitude lasting from 450 meters to 900 meters. Over there, peaks rise one above the other in the distance, foggy covers it perennially, climate is moderate and soil is fertile, which all make it a perfect place for the growing of Qingyan Tsui Ming. Workers usually start to pick fresh tea leaves from Qingming (Early April) to Grain Rain (6th solar term). The whole production process contains eight steps: killing out, rubbing, frying, drying, shaping, airing and seasoning.

As for the quality, Qingyan Tsui Ming has perfectly round, emerald green and tight trabs. It looks light green and transparent when brewed. Drinking it leads you endless aftertastes. Famous painter Huang Yongyu once said, “Guilin’s scenery is the best in the world, Zhangjiajie’s scenery is better than Guilin and Qingyan Tsui Ming suffuses an exquisite fragrance all over the world”.
