Beautiful Spring Scenery in Western Hunan

Photos taken on March 15 show rape flowers blooming on the thousand-mu terraced fields of Yanpaixi Village of Guzhang County. Thanks to the profound history, extensive culture and distinctive residential houses, the village was added to the list of Chinese Traditional Ancient Villages in 2012. In recent years, great efforts have been put to renovate and revitalize the houses in poor condition, and improve the outlook of the traditional village. A great number of ancient residential houses therefore are well preserved.
