World Heritage Volunteers Visit Dong Villages

On August 5, World Heritage volunteers arrived at Pingtan Village, Tongdao Dong Autonomous County Huaihua City, Hunan Province to undertake research on the Dong People's architectural technique. This 14-day event is organized by the UNESCO World Heritage Centre, during which 29 volunteers from Italy and Tsinghua University shall study the cultural traditions of the Dong People and the basics of their architectural technique and record their architectural sketches.
