On April 25th, The world’s first installation tunnel elevator – Zhangjiajie tianmen mountain elevator official began the normal operation.

Mountain elevator runs in the tunnel, All the day from the bottom to the top of the hill. With a total of 12 segments, a total escalator cascade operation length of 897 meters, it has the hoisting height of 340 meters, a total span of 692 meters. There are 16 sets super high overloading bus type escalators, three high overloaded bus type escalators, having one-way transmission capacity of 3,600 people/hour.

The tianmen mountain elevator is one of the most difficult, high technical requirements and the highest construction hoisting height in the world. It becomes a new miracle.
