Zhangjiajie has three spots in Hunan 10-World-class Geological Relics

Yesterday was the 46th world earth day. Hunan announced 10 world-class geological relics, Zhangjiajie sandstone hoodoo landscape, SangZhi dragon fossil origin, and Zhangjiajie tianmen mountain were on the list.

Geological relics are earth’s legacy in the evolution process of various trace, recording the history of the earth, with significant evolution, including the stratigraphic section, the fossil record, minerals, and other geological relics.

This list is helpful to promote the development of tourism economy. At the same time, it also is a kind of spur to promote the city environmental work to do better.
