Tourism Wharf on Orange Isle Starts Trial Operation
2016-12-20 18:03:30

A waterway tourist transportation platform at Changsha Orange Isle went into trial operation on April 27. Another docking station for tourist vessels has already been planned at Peigong Pavilion on Orange Isle.

The platform has two barge terminals with five berths, four of which have become temporary docking points for the four cruise firms at Orange Isle, namely Haishun, Jinzhou, Xinyu, and Yangfan.

The barges are equipped with ticket windows, restrooms, and stores. The tourism wharf is free to all ships during the trial run and ship tickets are sold by respective cruise firms. Certain management fee will be charged after the trial operation and a unified charging standard may apply.

Tourists visit a tourist transportation platform at the west side of Orange Isle on the morning of April 27.
