Lanshan to Hold Pear Blossom Appreciation Activity

In order to further promote pear blossoms as a tourist attraction, Lanshan County of Yongzhou City will launch the Pear Blossom Appreciation Activity Week themed “Spring of Pear Garden” for ten days in mid-March.

The pear blossoms are expected to bloom around March 15, but the best time for viewing should be between March 18 and 25. After the garden’s opening ceremony, there will be activities like cultural performances in the countryside, square dance and drum dance. Concurrently, a promotion of agricultural science and the Xiangjiang River Source Photo Exhibition will be on display. All the activities intend to spark public interest and increase interaction with tourists, while providing a relaxing spring outing and flower appreciation experience. During this time, tourists can drive to the rural area with the whole family for an ecological tour.
