ZJJ Funeral Dance Included in State-level Intangible Representative Project

Recently, Issued notice of the state council, Published the fourth batch of national intangible cultural heritage representative projects list, ZJJ Sangzhi Funeral Dance became the universe and the extension project. Zhangjiajie state-level intangible cultural heritage representative projects became four major projects, On the basis of the original three.

ZJJ Funeral dance is Tujia Folk Dance, With a long history and going back to ancient times. It can originate in the social custom of “Around the body and dance”, Which is the living fossil of anthropology, Ethnology and folklore.
