Xu Yousheng Promotes Hunan Tourism in Thailand

On the afternoon of December 8, Director of the Publicity Department of the CPC Hunan Provincial Committee Xu Yousheng, accompanied by Chen Jiang, cultural counselor of the Embassy of the People's Republic of China the Kingdom of Thailand, paid a visit to the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), and held talks with its deputy director. Mr. Xu invited more Thailand people to travel in Hunan and vowed to offer best service.

Director Xu stated that there were mainly three activities of "Hunan Culture in Thailand". First was exhibition of Hunan cultural products. Second, Golden Eagle Broadcasting System and Thailand Chia Tai Group inked cooperation agreement, marking that Hunan Satellite TV would be received in Thailand in the form of pay-TV. Third, Hunan promoted its tourism resources and scenic spots among Thai people.

Deputy Director of the TAT remarked that China is a popular tourist destination for Thai people. Since Hunan is abundant in tourism resources, the number of Thai people visiting China and Hunan is increasing year by year. The TAT is willing to strengthen cooperation with Hunan and upgrade tourism undertakings to a new level.
