First China Grand Three-stick Drum Arena Competition Kicks off

The first China (Wuling Mountain Area) Grand Three-stick Drum Arena Competition & Intangible Cultural Heritage Protection Festival kicked off in Longshan County on November 26.

The folk art festival aims to enhance cultural exchange across borders of Hunan, Hubei, and Chongqing, promote the protection and inheritance of intangible cultural heritage in Wuling mountain areas, and strengthen citizen’s sense of responsibility to safeguard their hometown. At 8 am that day, the performing teams started their show along the streets, attracting tens of thousands audiences.
