From Wuhan to ZJJ“Travel Direct Buses”Gained Initial Effect

“It is convenient and economical to travel to ZJJ by direct bus!” On July 14th, nearly 40 tourists from Wuhan take the“Travel Direct Buses”opened by CITS Zhangjiajie West and start three-day ecological summering vocation in Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan scenic spot.

According to the report,“Travel Direct Buses”is exploratory measure that the tourism administration of Zhangjiajie Wulingyuan takes to expand the tourists market in Wuhan. It is to activate the golden road for tourism channel–“Wuhan-Jinzhou-lixian-Zhangjiajie”.

Wuhan, with millions of people, is one of the main tourists market for Zhangjiajie, with over 120,000 tourists from Wuhan visiting Wulingyuan in 2012. In March this year, Zhu yongwen, the secretary of Wulingyuan district committee led a promoting team and managed to hold tourism talkfest–“Away from haze; Outing in ZJJ”. In the meeting, the people from Zhangjiajie discussed and exchanged with Wuhan’s travel agencies and Zhangjiajie’s offices stationed in Wuhan, in terms of “the transportation from Wuhan to Zhangjiajie or reverse”, “the latter follow-up of marketing” and “the product packing and design”. Both of them made substantial progress in the opening of “Travel Direct Buses” and image and advertisement propagandas.

On April 18th, the“Travel Direct Buses”was opened officially. By now, nearly 30 buses have been departed with over 1,000 tourists from Wuhan being sent. It is planed to send 70 direct buses in this year and hopeful to send about 3,000 tourists. At the same time, on the basis of direct buses from Wuhan to Zhangjiajie, the travel direct buses from Jinzhou and Xiangyang to Zhangjiajie are also planed.

In order to maximize the support to the open of“Travel Direct Buses”in Wuhan, Wulingyuan scenic spot will intensify the marketing efforts and image propaganda, especially to the serials of tourism products, like“Travel Direct Buses”.
