3D Monkey King to Be Shown and ZJJ Scenery Appearing on the Screen

According to MTIME, the IMAX 3D live-action fantasy action movie–The Monkey King, by HK director Zheng baorui and famous movie star Donnie Yen who plays the monkey king has been presented inNorthern America on July 4. The release date of the movie in Chinese mainland will be issued at the end of August.

Started up in October, 2010, the film has shoot for nearly three years, with a total investment of 300 million RMB. Except some famous stars, such as Donnie Yen, Chow Yun-Fat, Aaron Kwok, the film selects ZJJ Wulingyuan scenic spots as the filming prototypes of mountain of flowers and fruits and Water Curtain Cave, which present splendid and unique Zhangjiajie landform and scenery on the screen.

As ZJJ Wulingyuan scenic spot increases its popularity and reputation, more and more movies and teleplays select their shooting locations in here, such as Journey to the West, Avatar and A Dream in the Red Mansions. Their selections are for the unique of Zhangjiajie, at the same time boost Zhangjiajie’s popularity in overseas.
