Congratulations on Xinjiang Tianshan’s inscription on World Heritage List

The on-going 37th world heritage conference held in Phnom Penh on June 21 has passed through seven new world heritage cites. Xinjiang Tianshan, a paradise of China is inscribed on UNESCO’s World Heritage List.Thereby, China is only second to Italy with a amount of 44 cites.

Except Mount Tianshan from China, there are Namibia’s Namibian desert, Mount Etna in Italy, Mexico, EL than the cob and DE Alta as well as Pamirs.

Xinjiang Tianshan is located in Eurasia interior with average elevation of about 4000 meters.Xinjiang Tianshan is complex in terrain and soil types, which caused apparently vertical climates differences and bringing in abundant kinds of plants. More over, Xinjiang Tianshan is home to many rare and endangered plants, animals, as well as to over 3000 kinds of wild plants and animals, such as the snow leopard, snow chicken dark abdomen, alpine vultures, lobules pewter and so on.
