Hunan Promotes Industrial Transfer in Hong Kong

A meeting was held in Hongkong on June 21 to promote Hunan’s demonstration area undertaking industrial transfer. Three cities in south Hunan released 39 investment projects in information industry, and logistics, etc., including five major ones.

Hengyang City promoted Hunan’s first state-level comprehensive bonded zone and its priority in information industry; Chenzhou City recommended its export-oriented zone and focused on industries like nonferrous metal intensive processing and advanced equipment; Yongzhou City introduced the Fenghuang Economic Development Zone, Lanshan-Ningyuan-Daoxian-Xintian Processing Trade Area and highlighted cooperation intentions in commercial logistics, intensive processing of agricultural products, electronic information, textile and footwear production.

Chiefs of the Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong and the Federation of Hong Kong Industries said confirmed the increasing scale and quantity of Hong Kong Enterprises’ investment in Hunan in recent years, spoke highly of the development prospect of Hunan, especially the three cities in south Hunan, and promised to organize association members to visit Hunan at the right time.
