The Shiyanping Village, located in the southeast of Wangjiaping, is one of the regions in Hunan where stilted houses are well preserved. With a toal of 182 existing stilted houses of the Tujia ethnic group, the village was listed as the seventh batch of important heritage sites under state protection in 2013.
