2,000 South Korean Tourists Spend Dragon Boat Festival in Zhangjiajie

During the Dragon Boat Festival holiday, not only the number of domestic tourists increased rapidly in Zhangjiajie, but also South Korean arrivals came in a continuous stream. Since June, 9, over two thousand Korean guests have visited Wulingyuan scenic spot.

According to a travelling salesman specialized in Korea market, there are four reasons why South Korean tourists are attracted by the charming city during the vacation: first, South Korean tourists always show special interest in the beautiful scenery in Zhangjiajie, hence, it is their first choice when travelling abroad; second, they also have holiday during Dragon Boat Festival, which provides a good opportunity for them; third, many South Korean tourists want to take this chance to experience different cultural atmosphere of the festival in China, so as to have a better understanding of this country; and fourth, air traffic from South Korea to Zhangjiajie is quite convenient.
