UNESCO Official Visits Zhangjiajie

Patrick McKeever, director of the Global Geoparks Network (GGN) of the UNESCO visited Zhangjiajie on June 6 and spoke highly of the breathtaking scenery of Zhangjiajie Geopark.

Patrick McKeever paid a visit to the Visitor Center of Wulingyuan, the projects of Zhangjiajie Geopark under construction and Yuanjiajie scenic spots. He also enjoyed the "Tujia Lantern" performance by the indigenous people and the program named "Zhangjiajie, Splendid Xiangxi". He was deeply attracted to the unique culture of the city and expressed strong wish of introducing more people to Zhangjiajie.

Patrick McKeever also made proposals for the construction of the Geopark and hoped that Zhangjiajie will get more amazing in the future.
