Ningyuan County Wins National-level Tourism Awards

The 2013 Beautiful China Development & Brand Promotion of Tourism Destination, jointly held by Asia-pacific Tourism Organization (APTO) and China Brand Association (CBA) and co-organized by Shenzhen Travel Association, drew its curtain in Shengzhen. Ningyuan County won two awards of "Most Beautiful Famous Chinese County for Ecological and Cultural Tour" and "Most Beautiful Famous Chinese County for Culture and Leisurely Tour."

With profound culture, splendid scenery and rich tourism resources, and as an emerging ecological and cultural tourism destination, Ningyuan County enjoys the reputation of Humanistic Scenic Spot of the Chinese People and Spiritual Home of All Chinese. The county received about 4.65 million tourists in total last year, with the total revenue reaching 3 billion yuan.
