Tianmenshan Ropeway Is to Off-stream for Annual Overhaul from January 18

ZJJ Tianmen Mountain Ropeway is to off-the-line from January 18 to 31 and no tourists will be accepted during this period until February 1 when ropeway and scenic spot will all open to tourist again.

This annual overhaul is mainly to change bearings of ropeway’s driving wheels, overhaul and maintaining rope clip of lift car, take nondestructive inspection of steel wire rope and regular equipment and so on. Ropeway ofTianmenMountain, as main transportation equipment, takes a careful and comprehensive overhaul every year apart from daily maintaining to insure safety of tourists. Please take a notice of this news and you’d better rearrange your plan if you are planning to visit Tianmen Mountain.
