Snowy North China, a work of art of Hunan embroidery, was collected by the Administration of the Great Hall of the People and displayed at the west door of the Plenary Meeting Hall of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress(NPC).

The work of art is 7.6 meters long and 3.6 meters high, depicting the snow-wrapped charming scenery in north China. It is three times as high as the normal works, making itself the highest Hunan embroidery work. As a new masterpiece, it also fills in the gap of winter scenery depiction in Hunan embroidery.

Sixty craftsmen from the Hunan Embroidery Research Institute spent 55,200 working hours on the embroidery. The work costs 15 kilograms of silk embroidery threads of more than 200 colors.
