Hunan's Tourist Resources Promoted in Henan

A tourism promotion group headed by Mr. Yang Guangrong, director of Hunan Provincial Tourism Bureau, arrived in Henan, a central China province, on October 31. The group consisted of representatives from tourism bureaus, famous scenic spots, and travel agents from six cities along the high-speed rail passing Changsha, Zhuzhou, and Xiangtan. While promoting tourism resources, the group invited Henan tourists to Hunan via high-speed rail to enjoy its local customs and culture.

Mr. Yang pointed out that the two provinces share great complementariness in tourism resources. He expressed his hope that with the operation of Wuhan-Guangzhou, and Zhengzhou-Wuhan high-speed rails, the two provinces will attain a boost in mutual cooperation among the tourism management administrations and travel agents and tourism marketing, thus promoting exchange and integration in this area.

Themed beautiful, curious, and interesting, the promotion focused on 14 key scenic areas including Zhangjiajie and Langshan Mountain, five tourist products like golf, hot spring resorts, and happy leisure travels, and six fine routes such as visiting hometowns of celebrities, enjoying the natural scenery, and appreciating Hunan culture. Representatives of the six cities along the high-speed rail also introduced their rich tourist products.
