Embroidery Training Class for Congos Closed in Changsha

The embroidery technique training class for Congos came to an end on November 1 in Changsha. Twenty-four trainees were granted course-completion certificate by the Department of Aid to Foreign Countries of the Ministry of Commerce.

Experienced instructors include Wang Xiaohui, a national-level master of craft and art and Su Lisha, an embroidery master. During the three months' training, trainees obtained several methods in embroidery such as plain stitch and doped stitch, learned about the management and marketing of embroidery techniques and conducted an observation tour at the Hunan Xiang Embroidery Museum. They also paid a visit to the textile market in cities like Guangzhou and Shenzhen.
