International Friends Invited to Visit "New Appearance of Changsha"

On November 2, 175 international friends from over 40 countries were invited to attend the "New Appearance of Changsha" visit activity, part of the "Love for Changsha" activities.

Changsha Mayor Zhang Jianfei delivered an English speech at the launching ceremony. He said that international friends from all over the world have supported and participated in the construction and development of Changsha in various ways. He hoped that international friends could experience Changsha's changes and charm as well as its people's enthusiasm, and promote friendly exchanges through visiting a batch of major construction projects in the city.

They visited such places as Meixi Lake, Yanghu Wetland Park, the Planning Exhibition Hall of the West Changsha Pioneering District, Changsha Broad Housing Industry Co., Ltd and Guangming Village.

Over five thousand international friends now live in Changsha. Foreign and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of Changsha Municipal People's Government and Changsha People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries launched this activity to let the international friends in Changsha further feel Changsha's great changes, so that they can adapt themselves well to Changsha and be happy to work and study.
