World, here comes ZJJ Xibu Street

Being included in the list of World Natural Heritage, Zhangjiajie can now proudly show another business card to the world as Xibu Street marked its debut on May17. Xibu Street, encompassing different minority cultures, represents a grand arena for Intangible Cultural Heritage of the Western Hunan. For instance, it covers folk culture bars of Tujia, Miao, Bai, Dong and Yao Minorities, and 9 theme inns of folk music, paintings and bridal chambers, etc.

What’s more, Xibu Street also invited time-honored work shops to join and pass on handicrafts like batiks, silver objects, glasses, potteries so on so forth. The traditional bearers of dozens of intangible cultures also joined the jamboree of showcasing the Intangible Cultural Heritage of The Western Hunan.
