The 2012 China Online Media Reporting Tour in Changsha was unveiled on April 21 and will last till April 25. Changsha Mayor Zhang Jianfei and Deputy Director of the Hunan Provincial Tourism Bureau Liu Zhiming attended the opening ceremony.

According to an online survey, the ten favorite cultural tourist cities in China are Beijing, Changsha, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Kuqa, Danzhou, Hulun Buir, Taizhou, Bozhou and Jiujiang. Mayor Zhang presented awards to these cities at the ceremony.
