Iran Diplomats Extol Hunan Culture

Recently, Mr. Hussein, cultural counselor of Iranian Embassy to China led a delegation to Hunan. He extolled the millennium Hunan Culture when visiting the unique 3-kilometre-long Poem Wall in Changde City.

A grand poetic cultural activity will be launched in Iran recently in the near future. Noticing that poems written by Iranian and ancient Persian poets were engraved on the wall, Mr. Hussein and his delegation went to Changde to visit the poem wall and make some preparations for their cultural activity.

The elegant calligraphy and seal cutting attracted the Iranian guests. They spoke highly of the creativity of this art form. "The stamina of a great nation comes from its glorious culture. It is amazing that excellent poems of the past dynasties of China can be permanently preserved on the poem wall." In addition, Iranian and ancient Persian poets' poems on the wall prove that Iran and China share a long history of friendship. The two countries hope the relationship between them can last forever.
