Literary Lecture Room to Open in Hunan

On the morning of September 28, Hunan Writers Association held a press conference to promote a new program--Literary Lecture Room. It aimed to create sound atmosphere for the literary development and prosperity in Hunan and develop the program into one with wide social influence and brand value.

Centered on literature, the forum pursues public-benefit, academics and superiority and strives to hand down classic works. Therefore, domestic literary masters will be invited to give lectures here.

As its first speaker, Wang Meng is to ramble on fiction at 9:00 am on October 17 at Mao Zedong Literary College. Masters such as Tie Ning, Jia Pingwa, Chen Jiangong, Mo Yan, Han Shaogong, Wang Anyi and Zhang Wei are to be invited.
