2011 China International Tourism and Culture Festival to Start

The 2011 China (Chenzhou) International Tourism and Culture Festival themed with "City in the Wood & City of Leisure" will kick off at Fushou Square of Longnv Scenic Spot, Beihu District of Chenzhou City on Oct. 18 and hold its concluding ceremony at Mangshan Mountain National Forest Park of Yizhang County on Oct. 25. All the related projects under construction are scheduled to be finished and put into operation by Oct. 10. 

On Sept. 26, the organizing committee of the event held a meeting to analyze the existing complications in the preparatory work and deploy work for the next stage.

He Wenjun, member of the Standing Committee of CPC Chenzhou Municipal Committee, presided over the meeting. He pointed out that the departments directly under Chenzhou Municipal People's Government, the districts, counties and cities should detail the work, strengthen cooperation, and carry out the responsibility to efficiently fulfill the tasks.

Fan Zhongda, deputy director of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Chenzhou City, also attended the meeting.
