Beijing TSTA Holds Promotion Meeting in Hunan

A delegation led by Yang Ruizong, director of the Beijing Office of the Taiwan Strait Tourism Association (TSTA) convened a promotion meeting in Hunan Apr 20-23 to advertise its tourism products.

Yang revealed in his speech that the aim of the promotion is to establish  tourism exchange & cooperation platform so as to stimulate mutual communication between Taiwan and Hunan. He emphasized that since the number of mainlanders to Taiwan is on a constant rise, the tourism quality and management has become essential.

Liu Miansong, deputy director of the Hunan Provincial Tourism Bureau said in his speech that Hunan and Taiwan share great similarities and differences in tourism resources, permitting an increasingly closer mutual exchange and achieving greater results. Both sides should strengthen collaboration and unswervingly seek new space of development.

Other issues concerning  more direct flights, regulations of the tourism market and the handling of emergencies were also discussed at the meeting.
