Huitang Hot Spring Resort to be Made a National Tourist Resort

Recently, Wu Wenxue, Party member and director of Financial Planning Office of the National Tourism Administration of the People's Republic of China headed a delegation to Changsha for tourism investigation. Zhang Jianfei, deputy secretary of the CPC Changsha Municipal Committee and mayor of Changsha City met with the delegation and extended gratitude to the National Tourism Administration for its energetic support. The two sides exchanged ideas on how to accelerate the development of modern tourism in Changsha. Director of Hunan Tourism Bureau Yang Guangrong and Vice Mayor Chen Xianchun accompanied the investigation.

Mr. Wu and his delegation made an inspection in Yuelu Mountain Scenic Area and Huitang Hot Spring Resort (in Ningxiang County)， and spoke highly of Changsha's achievements in tourism industry in recent years. He stressed that a planning and construction program of Huitang Hot Spring Resort should be worked out in line with the to-be-implemented New National Standards of Tourist Resorts.  Efforts should be exerted to intensify original ecological protection, speed up supporting service facilities, and give more play to its vocational and tourist roles so as to forge Huitang Hot Spring Resort into an idyllic holiday resort which is first-rate in China and well-known in the world.
