Journalists from LIVING TV and POLARIS TV, two South Korean media, gathered in Zhangjiajie City to shoot a scenery film from November 2 to 5, 2010. The opening ceremony of the First China International Culture-tourism Festival was once held in the city. Upon the completion of the film, the gorgeous mountains and water and unique cultural landscape will appear on South Korean television screen.

During the shooting period, the two media brought into focus the city’s natural wonders like the Yellow Dragon Cave, Tianzi Mountain, and Yuanjiajie Scenic Spot with different representation techniques. They also photographed Zhangjiajie’s regional culture, such as Miao nationality drum, water wheel, and Tu nationality gourmet, and conducted interviews with some tourists, tourism personnel, and natives in the scenic area.

According to Director of the LIVING TV Jae-Sung Lee, Zhangjiajie, known as the paradise on the earth, is popular in South Korea. After the Black Drum Art Company debuted in the Zhangjiajie International Country Music Week and the First China International Culture-tourism Festival, the city’s reputation has been further elevated in South Korea. He believed that more and more South Koreans will look forward to visiting the charming city after seeing the scenery film taken this time.
