Train station

Zhangjiajie is connected by railway to Beijing,Shanghai,Guangzhou, and and many other cities throughout China. The Zhangjiajie railway station is 3.1 miles (5 km) from downtown, just opposite the bus station. Daily trains travel between Zhangjiajie and Changsha.

Bus station

The Zhangjiajie long-distance bus station provides bus service to the surrounding scenic spots. Every five minutes there is a bus going from downtown to the Wulingyuan Scenic Area or Zhangjiajie national forest park(Avatar park), which is about a one hour ride. In addition, there are 10 bus routes in Zhangjiajie city covering downtown Zhangjaijie.
